who drank my shake?!

why hello there my friends.. happy friday! I know the weekend is normally something to be celebrated but i'm a little unhappy with how quickly the weeks have been passing.. no me gusta!

as you may have noticed i transformed my blog (yet again).. I know I know, i have seriously bloggie OCD but i just need to switch it up every so often. I'm still working on a few things but this is pretty much the new layout -- hope you like it :)!

Yesterday I started off my day the best way i know how.. coffee and waffles with chobani...such a perfect summer breakfast! After a while of blogging being productive i suited up and hit the mat... on the podcast today was:

* 30 minute detox challenge yoga flow

* 8 minute yoga abs #2

I also did a quick 10 minute bootylicious buns workout.. holy squats! this was definitely a great moderately fast paced way to get your heart rate up and work that hiney.

for a post workout pick-me up i had a nice thick shake in a cool frosted beer glass

oh, about that..

*note: please excuse my digestive enzymes chillin' in the back... don't judge me, gotta do what ya gotta do ;)!*

thank ya'll for your tips on how to make my shake nice and thick. My favorite recommendation was from running stronger who suggested to freeze some of boost in an ice cube tray - that way my shake doesn't taste too watered down with all those ice cubes...genius, thanks so much girl!!

My shake mix contained:

* 1/2 frozen nana

* boost shake

* scoop of pb2

* spoonful of vanilla oikos ..

this combo was pure magic! thus why i slurped it up before i had time to look for my camera.

after refueling i ventured up to my attic, made friends with some rats, and retrieved my spring (yes, spring) clothes. We're always a step behind here in the PB&J household.. just be glad we finally took the rest of our Christmas decorations in April.. i kid you not.

as I paroozed through my last years wardrobe I began feeling a little anxious and concerned that all of my clothes wouldn't fit anymore. I hesitantly tried on one of my favorite sun dresses from last season and was thrilled to see that it fit like a glove! Keyword being: it FIT.. aka it didn't hang off of me like a potato sack as it did last year. I'm happy to see that i'm finally able to fill out my clothes and work 'em with pride. Plus it's definitely a bonus to not have do a boob check every 5 seconds and make sure my tetas aren't hanging out of any strapless tops... i'm finally gaining the goods to hold 'em up. Lovez it!

well I am off to hit the mat and shower before work later on - should be a busy one before of 4th of july weekend! Speaking of which.. I hope you all have a safe and fun holiday :) Anything exciting planned?! I'd love to hear!
