so yesterday morning something funky was going on at the PB&J casa.. the tv cable was out and.. dun dun dun, brace yourselves for this one.. WE HAD NO INTERNET CONNECTION. *gasp!* what's a girl to do without her morning serving of blogs?

but i was too tired for those shenanigans so i settled for breakfast in bed

after some pee-lah-tees, I realized time had slowly escaped me and I had about 10 minutes to get to work and I was still rockin' my AE boxers and my hair was a hot mess. So, what do i do? run around like a freak and get ready as fast as possible? No, in true bloggie fashion.. i ate a snack :)
vanilla chobani with some raisins and vanilla bean almonds and a mini peanut butter clif bar
such a cute little guy, ain't he?now before y'all think I'm the worst employee ever -- the reason i'm so chill with going to work late is because the boss has me going in at 1:30 but the girl on the cart before me doesn't come in until 2:30 so i literally sit there for an hour with nothing to do. Actually, I'm helping out my boss by saving her money.. i think i deserve a reward! agreed?
after warding off slimeballs working I came home for some chow
may-juh shouts to my main squeeze for this star component of my dinner.
cottage cheese & raisins on a E-muffin eaten with an unpictured fish cake and b-sproutsdessert was banana cream pies healthier twin sister..
vanilla pudding, nana slices, crushed whole wheat grahams, whipped cream up the whazoo. Some whipped cream may or may not have made it to my mouth straight out of the can....don't pretend you don't do it. ;)as for today the game plan was for me to work but fortunately one of my girlfriends down at the course asked if i could switch shifts with her tomorrow.. so I got today free to hang out with my Ginge! It's definitely difficult for us to spend time together during the day -- our schedules are the exact opposite. On the weekdays he's a camp counselour until 3:00pm and then on the weekends when he has off, I work during the day.. FML x's 10! But today the stars aligned for us and we lucked out with the weather too so we're planning on hitting up the park for a little pic-naccc action. I know, we're such cornballs.

Yikes, no internet connection... I fear I might experience the same inconvenience when I go to Bulgaria. Little mountain towns are not really known for their great internet connections...
We should get McDonald's to add the PB&nana burger to their menu ;)

ahhhh I hate when I lose internet!!!!!!!!!!! But sounds like you had a nice bfast in bed ;) I can relate to not being able to see the bf! Even friends for me. I work at a camp from 8 to 5:30 daily..and busy at night...whats a girl to do!? collapse in bed and give the sociallife a boot lol have a great picnic!
ack, my internet schedule is pretty structured. No internet = messy. I was out most of yesterday and still trying to catch up...
I do the same thing with whipped cream. Really, who doesn't?!

Dude, Jenny, I go absolutely insane when there's no internet...kudos to you for now gnawing your arm off due to stress, seriously! I'm glad it's back up so I can continue obsessively reading your blog. And drooooling over your delicious eats - like that breakfast sandwich - McDonald's don't have nothin' on that jazz.

I absolutely hate it when my internet connection goes out - it happens much more often than I'd like since we have a satellite connection and we live in the woods surrounded by tall trees. Still, high speed is better than the alternative... dial-up *gasp*! ;)

And I just wanted to say how much I love the message from your last post. I totally agree that recovering is so much more than weight. And we don't need numbers ruling our lives and thoughts, whether we want those numbers to go up or down. I definitely eat the whip straight from the can... why I can't keep it around my house. How bloggies would get sick of seeing pictures of my canister of whip cream. I would become the crazy can of whip cream girl. Yes, yes I know I am selfless in saving the blogosphere from those pictures :-)

I tots know what you mean about the boyf having the exact opposite schedule. James works a lot of weekends and usually doesn't get home until 8 or 9 pm on weeknights!! (I work the traditional 8-5) It's always a treat to be able to hang out when it's actually LIGHT outside. just makes you cherish the time you've got together more eh??
