Alright - BACK TO REALITY
din-din last night
all natural chicken cutlet on a big ol' sammie roll with all the fixins (lettuce, tomato, onion, & cat-sup!) + carrots and another little surprise side dish that I will reveal to you later! (try not to let the suspense spoil your day ;)!!)
for "dessert" me and the girls conquered an entire bag of pirates booty..I couldn't help myself - i love those little puffs of cheesy goodness ..
I'm going to have to hit you up with a recycled pic for bfast this morning
Before I depart I have some good news from the ED-recovery front: Although mommacita and myself both agree that I have been making a lot of progress as far as my eats and increasing cals, there is definitely still an underlying mental issue that i've been struggling with. This mental battle has emersed in to so many areas of my life (perfectionism, isolation, grumpiness, control issues, etc.) and we both definitely think it's best for me to go to a therapist...so we called up a nearby place and made myself an appointment for Thursday. I'm SUPER excited because although I have been extremely proud of my healthful eating, I wont be able to be truely happy or successfull in recovery if i don't attack the mental portion of the disorder with full force! I'm very anxious to go and get started and work towards letting go of the pain that ED has inflicted on me.
Alright girlies I am out of here! Have a wonderful Tuesday :)<3

getting therapy is a HUGE step in the right direction for you jenny, yay for you! I know it's probably different for everyone, but when I have had a bad relationship with food, it's been 100% mental. There is sooo much that affects how we look at food, it usually has nothing to do with food itself. I think this will be sooo great for you!!
and uh, omg, what are those tasty looking things on the side of your chicken sammie!??! at first I thought they were a new shape of tater tot, but now I'm dying to know what it is!!
Aw yey for Therapy! That's such a HUGE part of recovery. Eating more is one thing, but being at peace with yourself and all the changes is another thing in itself!! Good job for moving forward!!
That is fabulous about therapy, love! Great step and it will help you so much :) Good for you for recognizing that you want to take that step!
I can't wait to see what those little things are with your dinner!!! Suspense, haha.
Have a beautiful Tuesday...and once again thanks for all of your amazing comments you leave me. love.
I'm so happy you are excited about therapy. It was my first step to recovery. I don't really think anyone can properly attack the disorder without professional help. Congrats! I know this will help you :)
Great eats yesterday/today. I'm glad you enjoyed your girls night! Have a great day Jenny.
Good for you for choosing to go to a therapist! I hope it turns out to be amazing.
How dare you keep me in suspense!! I want to know what else you had with dinner :)
I'm glad you're so excited about therapy - it's a step in the right direction!
I suppose you and Miss Mighty Maple can be in a more committed relationship now that I'm married but I may still need to see her every now and then ;)
chuck bass makes me weak the knees! and his style - amazing!
i am so so happy to hear you are seeking some professional help! i think you will really enjoy therapy :) all eating disorders classify as a mental disease and food is only one out of many aspects (which you are doing so well with!!!) but in order to fully recover the mental issues must be worked out. you are on the right track! anyway i can't wait to here the prognosis on thursday!
i hope you enjoy the rest of your afternoon! love you gorgeous! xo
p.s. thanks cutie! its a little cosmetic/anything bag that i always keep it in my handbag. but same thing, right? :)
Getting therapy is a great idea! Therapists give such important insight, and ask questions that really make you question why you still want ED or why you're willing to let it affect your life. I have group therapy on thursday too, so Therapy Thursday! Ha.
Chuck Bass is indeed a dreamboat. Even when he's wasted!
I'm in the same spot you are with recovery. I eat okay eats (not as well as you though!) but my mind is racing all the time and I have bad thoughts about food and my body.
I'm more of a Chace Crawford fan...actually they're all hot!!!
OMG GG. How incredibly sexy are they?!
I know exactly what you mean! Im so happy for you Jenny, this is such a good step :)
that's so great your excited about therapy, i'm sure it will be so helpful. And GG was amazing, loved the blair/chuck moment but no Nate-what's with that!
